The coastal walking route is by far the most complete walking network on the Coast. For the first time, the route covers the entire Flemish coastline, between De Panne and Knokke-Heist. The Coastal walking route is a network of paved and unpaved walking paths between De Panne and Knokke-Heist. By means of this route, you can design your own walking route via signposted intersections. Those spots can all be found on a handy map. Couldn’t get any easier!
With the Coastal walking route, you can enjoy dunes and pebbles, mudflats and salt marshes, sea and beach. And much more beyond just nature. The route also offers a dive into the rich maritime history of the region, our wartime history of the Belle Epoque. And with the identified intersections, you can design your Coastal walk ‘à la carte’; and opt for a different path each time.
